i think he was talking about the rest of hte numbers, may be something in that long seriel that would give an indication of what model scooter it is off of but not sure at all about it

Easy 45 mph. If it is off an elite it was an 87 se50 or 88-93 sa50.

with out knowing what it came off for sure .. i don't have the motor yet but shod get it this week end ill post the number on it was not smarted to snap a photo of it ... i no at times the little kids come of me and gets silly..
im not going to rush this a little over 30 for my spree motor is not bad but im going to try and squeezer all i can to all of it out of her

well had one nasty cold but im over it anuff and went and got the motor its af05e-9007968 4 bolt intake ... hope that some one can tell me what it was out of beside the junk yard

need some help from out math people..
as you have read got the motor it need a bath big time till then in not going to brake it down..
been doing a lot or reading the compression is all over the place .. the best prem gas is about 93 i think that good anuff to run 9:1 or 10: 1 compression so how minny cc head wood bring me to that point .. and wood it help or wood the higher compression lower my max rpms???

7.2 : 1 for 83 to 84
6.9 : 1 for 88 to 93
6.6 : 1 for 87

i no if the ring are bad it wont get to 9:1 or 10:1 but if there are .. or is this to high to run??

swap on a shaved head and see what happens. I put one on, with my bigger bore, and the thing ran with the spark plug disconnected. Too high of compression. If its a stock motor, i don't see any reason why you couldn't run a shaved head

Well by the pic it looks like the aero 50 engine. If I recall right the aero50 and the Tact(af09) had that same one piece kick start. I cant recall if the DJ-1/87 elite s had the same?? Was it one piece or 2?

im going to shave the head open the ports open and the intake manifold ..and other things but im looking for a number of cc i need to get the head to ...get to a higher compression but not to high .. like you had and unlike the spree i dont have a spar head to play with .. i do no how to fine out how minny cc i have and and just taken now to what i need .. but right now the motor is not broke down and full of dirt .. or even what motor i have read there all diffident compression numbers ..

its two the part you put your foot on pivets .. and some mor on wiled it to the shaft not good now the cast is brittle..

well i got the worst of the dirt off the motor and started braking it down this being mt frist none spree motor theres a big differences between the two.. the onley thing i think that need to be open up is the intake manifold by the read vales and the what i see as a large packet in the head need to come down in size here a phote of the intake pinch point

the only bad thing so far is the jet is trash and cant get out yet !!! but i have not check the ring end gap to see how bad it is yet..

well got a look at the rest the combustion chamber in the head is about 10 cc or about 2 tea so that's need to come down but how munch to bring it to 9:1 or so ????? the rings end gap is 0.037 max is 0.040 and one is missing its tip so the cyl need to be look at by a shop to see if it need new ring or what ..hope just ring dont want a bbk .. i don't have a mike to see for my self .. the roller are pink and have flat spotsssss on them so they got to go.. the carb body is still soaking so not sure if the jet will come out or i have to find a new carb body..the stater is broke down and the front bearing is stuck to the shaft.. rod and crank seem good no play in then ... and some fool welded the kick start to the shaft ???? some people need to learn who to fix a strip kick start ..welding is NOT the answer at all so that need to be look at and replace ..

can some one tell what cc i need to get to 9:1

well just fond out the intake manifold is about 20 cc and if i do the dermal it ill pick up a fue (1 to 3 ) cc.. and make the gas move thou the intake faster and smother ... so what do you guys think????

well i play with the intake it started at 20cc now its 25cc and i think the air will move smoother in to the read vales then to the block that's what i think
