Re: honda dio moto
we have a 50mm sheng-e bore fiited on our dio 2...some modifications are needed to fit it..
about the crankshaft it depends on how large the diameter of ur crank u'll be using...
ours is fiited with 80mm so we ported the carter...
hope it helps..

yaaa that kinda helps...so would any cranshaft fit with any 50mm big bore kits?
Re: honda dio moto
LOL monsta? 50mm?
I was figuring you wanted to build a 125/ 130cc motor...
im using a 56 bore x 52.7 crank for my current drag bike

Much easy to use stock crank, Mini stroker cranks, 44.4,43.2, 44.1, need to make
base gaskets.
base gaskets.

Re: honda dio moto
using a full volume cranks with a 79.5mm in diameter will cost you to mill ur carters just to fit them...
if ur planning to use them in drag its better to get bigger cranks..but of course u'll be shaving ur carters...

Re: honda dio moto
soo each piston has to have a specific crank to it or you can use any kind of crank on any piston?

Re: honda dio moto
yes...if u have a long stroke block u should get the same piston..
if u use a short stroke piston on a long stroke block ur piston will be off from the top of ur block...
what i notice is that the wrist pin of short stroke is lower that the long stroke..

Re: honda dio moto
If you have a stock dio motor you can bolt the 50mm BBK directly on with no mods.

thanks that helps alot!
Re: honda dio moto
you want to match the crank to the bore, anything after 51mm is not made for the street!!!
