are you using a stock carb, stock airbox, stock exhaust, and what oil/fuel mixture are you running? all these different variables determine jetting

Re: 2001 Elite SA50 Mod Upgrade, Jetting Help
Greetings:
A lot depends on the intake and exhaust you're running.
If all is stock, my Guess is 110 to start. With an aftermarket exhaust and Pod filter - 1" UNI will fit the PA Carb - consider 120 or so. Going too big and rich will confer protection from a piston-burning lean mixture.
Then you cautiously downsize the jet until it runs well. The problem with a big bore/stock carb setup is that you cannot enlarge the Pilot easily.

Welcome andy, there is this ebay site I have bought from, I think he has a kit of jets for stock SA50 carburetor. Fast shipping and good prices. Good luck with the new scoot! Also can try honda but you need part #'s I think. Click on link to Daywot' site: http://stores.ebay.com/daywot
