The stock cdi does not limit rpms. Aftermarket performance cdi is a waste of money unless you're replacing a faulty unit.

1995 Yamaha Jog
1994 Yamaha Axis

I can't believe
that cop put me
in the backseat
when I clearly
called shotgun.

Looking around,I fund that these are for jdm and/or euro bikes cuz the us market ones don't limit it for emissions

It is located on the right hand side of the body just beside and beneath the oil tank on my Dio. Hope this helps.

I second that. This unit from NCY Motor Sports didn't do a thing for performance, only made my Dio REALLY hard to start. A complete waste of money. The stock Honda CDI runs circles around this piece of junk. It might be worth the 20 bucks as spare parts in case of emergency. But even then it might not be worth it.
