How many psi do you think the hose and adaptor adds?
The long hose and adapter subtract PSI, not add.

what did the v8 rev to? i dont understand how a pipe can make you run cooler without loosing performance

I would think the opposite would be true. More hot air out and more cooler air in will cool things down.

the v8 doesnt rpm as much as the pg long does so the engine doesnt run as hot due to that. less rpm, less flow through the motor, less compression in the case and head.
Nothing like getting stroked!

The v8 pipe does not rev as high.....however it makes more power at lower rpms than a pg long or chamber pipe.

less rpms = less heat

if you run it too rich will that cause it to run hot? or maybe too much oil? i know too much oil will cause it to bog down at higher rpms?

running rich does not cause high temps.

running rich lower temps and power.

running too much oil will cause your air / fuel raito to become lean, and therefore run hotter.
