Hey now,Im not knocking variated scooters in any way here. All I'm saying is that there are a ton of sprees out there that need more out of them without having to swap in a whole different motor in. I have spent quite a bit of time in the last while working on ways to mod a spree that noobs might be able to pull off without too much money. I'm doing the regular stuff that is in wikispreedia and looking in to an idea or two. I have spent a bunch of money doing this as well just on the off chance I may be able to help some people out in taking their spree that works well but needs to be made into a much more usable form of transportation. Let's face it look at eBay right now, how many scooter motors that would be easily swapped in to a spree are there, compared to used spree parts that can modded for gains, or new stock cylinder kits for cheap that can be ported nicely and replace worn jugs for a cheap performance gains, and last but not least the Taz big bore kit, a reasonably priced huge performance gain. Not to mention when the the tuned pipes show up on the scene an easy bolt on improvement to either stock or big bore cylinders I'm guessing. We have to be logical about sprees, there simply are not enough motors to swap with people with the skills to swap them in. The average person wants simple inexpensive bolt on solutions to get better performance from their spree.

Pauly I rarely chime in on these threads but bro REALLY. Your comparing apples to oranges. Once again most people are not looking to make their spree's go 45+ and if they are I am the first to say you will want to do a engine swap. Comparing the cvt trans to the spree trans is just silly. Should I compare my yz250f 5-speed to your dio(AF24) with a cvt trans up hill. lol

You gotta pay to play performance isnt cheap or free. If your smart you would buy a older elite engine and swap em you can get em cheap around 100 bucks

Thats weird pauly none of what we said makes sense to you. I am sorry for your bad luck of having no common sense.

King in Vegas there are not that many elite's or elite engines to find. The kids beat the crap out of them and if you find one it usually need rebuilt. For me or you thats no big deal but for the newbs it is. A lot of people can barely put a cylinder kit on.

Went ahead and ordered the bore kit. Probably gonna get an mlm pipe also. Interesting responses. Keep it up. Ill post results and eaze of install.

I might be holding off now on the mlm pipe and wait for the Taz one. Since he will be tuning it for the big bore kit.

Just spent $110 on the big bore kit. Ill spend another $150 on a muffler from taz or mlm.
