I suppose you could always wrap it in 2.5mm teflon tape and shove it in.

Ok explain more.

But back to the Ct mani. The carb fits INSIDE? The vm18 is made to fit the outside.

Now, if TJ or anyone else can measure their OKO carb or CT manifold, we can see if a VM18 is a good alternative. Let's get measuring!
The ID of a CT intke is 1.068 iches or 27.1272 millimeters
But it seems to taper in a bit to 1.029 inches.
Oh, you measured the inside. So I thought that was where the carb goes. If it goes on the outside, we need the OD. That ID is fairly big. Does this mean the manifold accepts all the OKO carbs from 21 to 28mm?

yup the OKO OD is hte same and the ID is different you can get the ct manifold and change the boots on it to fit different sized flange OD, if hte mikuni is a round type instead of hte bolt on type treatland.tv sells a mikuni adapter not certain it fits the CT but it should I am too tired to do the searching :D

Greetings:

The OKO CT Mani's OD is 34mm, as is that of all the OKO Carbs from 19 to 30mm.
The "standard" OKO donut has ridges that mate with the mani and carb grooves and make for a Tight fit.
The fit MUST be tight, or there'll be a tuning nightmare at best or a seizure at worst.
TeatLand sells a donut that can be made to fit the Mik TM24, a VERY good carb except the choke and air bleed screws are inside and hard to reach.
The OKO Carb is tunable and of acceptable quality. The Carb, CT Mani WITH Reeds and cable can be had for a little more than a C-note.
This explains the popularity of the setup. I've installed Keihin VE24 CV, the Mik 24 and 3 sizes of Keihin/OKO clones. The performance doesn't change much, but the OKOs are cheap.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I thought I'd add my 2 cents worth since some readers may still be looking for something that works. I got this 19mm Keihin from Taiwan for $39 and it has the standard electric bystarter choke and all the fittings match except for a couple of small mods needed. The stock manifold needs to be Dremel'd out to 19mm and same for the insulator spacer, all easy to do in about 1/2 hour. Change main jet to a 105 (115 with no air filter). Shorten the main jet needle to richen the mixture at WOT. The oil injection fitting needs to be drilled and installed. And the stock air filter needs to be enlarged. I used a short piece of 1-1/2" exhaust pipe & a neoprene plumbing joint from Home Depot to make the connection. And that's about it. Total cost: maybe $50. It's a real screamer, good for about 60mph with Athena gears.
