Dio wet clutch options?

Post by Sheeshee »

Hey guys and gals,

I was just wondering if there are any wet clutches available for these bikes? In my go-carting days everyone had wet clutches to help prevent clutch fade. Are there any such applications for the DIO motor?

Thanks

One of my karts didn't have a "gearbox" to run a wet clutch it was literally a self contained wet clutch (basically a centrifugal clutch that was sealed and filled with oil.) Just curious if there was anything like this.

Thanks!

I wonder how the oil would cool, unless there were some serious heat shrouds, maybe the oil would store excess heat unless it went somewhere else to cool and return.

I think my dad has that kart laying around somewhere at my grandparent's house. If I find it, I'll try and take a pic for you haha
