where to get jets for Keihin carb?
Where do you guys find jets for the stock Keihin carbs (off my aero)? i cant find them anywhere. Any help appreciated, links would be awesome too.
HondaCharlie
My local Bike and ATV shop carrys a bunch of the jets in stock and those he doesn't have he orders for me. The trouble with ordering on line is there are 4 differnt types of jets used in Keihin carbs.

The problem with the jets used in Elite (and I believe Aero also) carbs is that they are not stock Keihin items. If you go to the Keihin web site that lists all of their jet styles, they are not even shown. I think this is because the carbs were only made for Honda factory engines. A limited range of jets can be ordered form Honda dealers as Honda parts, but that's about it.
Here's some info on obtaining jets that has been previously posted. I think the jets used in the Aeros and Elites are the same, but check before taking the plunge!
www.boats.net is the cheapest I've found, but if you are only getting one, a honda dealer may be just as cheap due to shipping.
You can get an 80 size jet here:
https://www.onlinemicrofiche.com/speeds ... sp?Type=13
Then search part # 99101-187-0800
Boats.net is cheaper if you search same part #.
and can get an 85 here:

Honda part numbers for the jets go like this:
99101-187-****
Where **** represents the jet size with a zero in front and behind for 2 digit sizes. So a size 80 jet is 99101-187-0800, size 100 99101-187-1000, etc.
You can do a Google search for the size you want. They are very limited though. One option is to get the largest size jets you can find and then drill out with micro-drills (by hand using a pinvise is best) to the size you need.
I can supply a size chart if needed when I find it

Jets are flow rated and not necessarily the drill size stamped on them. That's why drilling jets is a poor way to go. A Dial-A-Jet is a better way. Get a jet close and then use this to make the rest of the adjustments.
