Who is giving instructions to drill holes in the air box?

I have never had a 44mm or a 48mm bbk run well using ant part of the stock airbox or even the rubber tube that connects the carb to the air box.

44mm kits run great with uni filters.

48mm kits :imo: need bigger carbs and exhaust to run right.

Is the oil breather filters ID hole smaller than the mouth of the carb ?

i took off the rubber grommet and took my dremel tool and rounded off trhe openening on the filterand i had a xtra intake tube and slid it inside of the the hole i made wider so it was just like a mini cone filter but it ran really bad so i hooked back up to the airbox
