you can still get to work good with the 28mm carb. dont worry to much about porting. if your running the ruima 55mm bore, the port is pretty big already and the port timing is pretty good. did you add head gaskets or base gaskets to lower the compression?

The shop cut the case and put the rumia crank and the bore "yes 55mm rumia" i can check to see if they put double base gaskets when i get home??? i bought the yms v8 from them so they might have set it up for that pipe????? they put 55pilot and 137 main maxed out needle, but i retuned it to run better/faster did 52 pilot AND 142 MAIN 2ND NOTCH DOWN.

what should the compression be????

sorry>>>CHT WAS 320 ISH AT WOT AND WOULD DROP BY 2 DEG PER FEW SECONDS AS IT WAS NOT WOT.

stoped it at 50 ish cuz bore is not broken in yet.

Yeah check that base gaskets. Normaly the compression on that setup is around 170psi maybe higher but that's ment to run with race gas. The 120psi compression you got now should be ok for pump gas. Pull that spark plug and see what it looks like.
