Yes, it can not ride out as far as the belt needs to causing premature wear.

Greetings:

Not necessarily bad, but maybe. My first thought was that a 1.5mm wider belt will ten to be too wide to drop fully to center at both ends. It might run really tight, overheat, and slip or break.
Do try a test with a new stocker. Maic-Marker both pulleys to see if full travel occurs.
54 grams still sounds heavy, even with a 2K Contra. I ran 39 with a 1.5 in the SR pulleys.

I have 2K big spring and 3 2K mini springs in-between clutch parts I will drop to 39mm roller wieghts and try stock belt

Greetings:

Oh sure! All the cool kids run 39 grams so you have to copy them! What if they jumped of a bridge, would you do that too?!

Sinceriously, jump smaller increments. 39 might in fact be too light for that thick spring. Maybe split the difference and go 45-ish.

No, a wider belt like a 17mm Malossi will give an increase in speed since it rides further out on the variator pulley, yet still drops to the bottom on the clutch pulley. Works every time. It's a no-brainer.

Not in all cases. in a zx rear pulley or sym dd50 pulley yes. not on a elite s rear pulley or se50 rear pulley. for the front if using a s boss, you need to shim the boss out for a wider belt or if using a zx belt 18mm wide, need to use a zx boss to get the belt to ride all the way down in the front for better take offs.

And is ther a reason why there was so much carbon build up next to my spark plug?

Loose plug or bad sealing washer on the plug, either recently or in the past

Great! It's gets harder getting past 50mph. Your 28mm V8 pipe is a good street pipe for the 50mm jug but it will have a maximum rpm limit. On the other hand, you can run it at WOT all day long and not worry. A performance pipe will likely let you run at a higher rpm which might shorten engine life if you unleash a real screamer. 2-strokes are rpm limited only by breathing so you'll be able to run higher rpms by tweeking your breathing with carb and pipe. I've never seen a 28mm Scorpion pipe, but that doesn't mean there isn't one somewhere. Let us know what happens when you get it all screwed together.

the trailtech TTO gauges are cheap and good around $40 shipped. if you want the temp and rpm together then get the trailtech vapor. it also has mph and air temp on there for around $130 shipped but worth it..
