Yea they are sweet ive had 2.. They are everywhere here.. The old jogs have the same vert. Minarelli also.. Mine were both drum but still love em.. Hondas handle alot better i think

I spoke with a guy in Chicago and he said he had a water cooled 93cc kit on his zuma and it was running almost 80mph... Not sure what year.. But sounds expensive to build...lol

We have both an elite SB and a zuma. The elite has an 87cc cast iron engine and is very torquey. At anything above idle the clutch is engaged. It weighs something like 115-120 pounds. The Zuma with the Athena cylinder isn't quite as fast but nearly so. The clutch has to be set a lot tighter.

To the Zuma's advantage is it's suspension, it uses real hydraulic dampening instead of friction. It is much smoother has better brakes and has about twice the traction.

While I agree the suspension is superior, it lacks precise steering control as opposed to the hondas. I can dodge pebbles in the road with the spree and elite and barely steer around potholes in time with the zuma

Replacing the stock tires is a must. They handle like 30 year old Express tires.
