Hmm guess I didn't know the boss was the same. That's good to know I've been looking for a drive boss to use with a Polini for gy6 I bought off a guy. Never even checked I just assumed it was the same as ruckus to big.

My new Kevlar malossi belt fixed the issue! I thought my BBK was powerful before but wow is it quick with the new belt!

Greetings:

Belt wear is a slippery slope. The narrower it becomes, the more it slips, and the faster it wears. I gotta say at 12mm it's using the variator as a clutch -like vintage snowmobiles. If you're a cheapskate like I, you can reduce the boss shim thickness and buy a few miles with an older belt.

Everything is working great now but I think I want to service my driven face with a new spring and new grease. What Malossi spring should I get to replace the stock spring? The red or the yellow one? What is the difference between the two?

yellow is the one you want . red is a heavier rate spring
