soft seize?

It is not just about whether the injector is working correctly. Is the "o"ring seal on the pump good. If not that could be your air leak.

ok. crank seals are good i checked compression 3 more time 60pse is the max i get. the bike will not start w/ the electric start but will start w/ the kicker. i don't understand that at all. maybe one of you guys can tell me why that would be.

the speed of the kicker start dose not let it blow by the rings ..
do a compression test with the kicker start it will be higher if you do it the same as you did before..

ok compression check w/ the kick starter is 70psi. the bike will only start w/ the throtle about half way open.

Are you holding the throttle open during the test?

Are you kicking until the needle stops?

no the engine isn't warm. and yes i'm holding the throttle open durning the test and i kick it till the neddle stops.

Yes, very true!

If you still have the piston in backwards, the piston rings can catch on the exhaust port and break very easy. :nervous:

when i turned the piston around i switched the rings as well just to rull that out. but i do know that they aren't upside down.

What pipe, carb, and jets are you running?
