It is not just about whether the injector is working correctly. Is the "o"ring seal on the pump good. If not that could be your air leak.iceman77 wrote:i haven't checked the crank seals yet. i'll try to do that in a little. oil injector is working corectly.

Re: soft seize?
ok. crank seals are good i checked compression 3 more time 60pse is the max i get. the bike will not start w/ the electric start but will start w/ the kicker. i don't understand that at all. maybe one of you guys can tell me why that would be.

Re: soft seize?
the speed of the kicker start dose not let it blow by the rings ..
do a compression test with the kicker start it will be higher if you do it the same as you did before..

Are you holding the throttle open during the test?
Are you kicking until the needle stops?

Yes, very true!swimmingfree wrote:are you trying to run this motor??

If you still have the piston in backwards, the piston rings can catch on the exhaust port and break very easy.

Re: soft seize?
when i turned the piston around i switched the rings as well just to rull that out. but i do know that they aren't upside down.

Re: soft seize?
Does it run?
Maybe your gauge is just off.
What pipe, carb, and jets are you running?
