Stock pipe IS the Problem..... without a doubt... i run a 45/110... in my 21 oko.. stock pipes don't come close to flow for your set-up... with my technigas pipe i run 60mph all day long..

i'm selling my technigas pipe.. or possibly trade for some cool parts or something.. but it's designed for max power at 7800 rpm... although my polini kit runs upwards of 8200 to 9000 rpm...

Yea I have read your thread scotty :D I am most likely going to get the 28mm v8 either from daywot or jiangwayne. I wasnt talking about holding this contesta at WOT for several minutes :P Once broken in and tuned I could hold the 43mm bore at WOT all day

Mystic wrote::D I washed the pod filter with gas and apparently it was pretty dirrty since I lived on a gravel road. I figured since it was that dirty I might as well up the main to 100 with clip in the middle 49mph at about 1/4th mile or less not sure exactly. thanks for that suggestion guen :D I think I am about done for today. I need to find a flat str8 half mile run. Might try to go to up to 103 and see what that does the next time I take her out maybe try the 7g weights too also definately want to get some 8.44s. I agree with you King that I need the taller gears and better pipe
Try tuning the Carb n weights from there, I know it sucks to do it all over again but its the only way... don't skip any steps or u might skip right over the best set up...

Didnt rain during the day today as I thought it would so took the opportunity to switch the jets again went to a 103 and clocked 49.2 so I upjetted to 107 and took her for a about a 10 mile or so ride. I really need to get a temp and tach :P it bubbles right as you give it throttle but then accels nicely with lots of powers after I get going past 5-10mph hits 35-40ish quick no highspeed but I did flick the throttle WOT once or twice and it didnt bog down so wont know if it improved performance any till I can get it on the flat. Though it did take longer to get to 49mph with the 103 than with the 100 both with the clip in the middle. I would rather run rich than lean till I get the feel of the bore and the trans tuned. Will post a pic of my gps max when I can get a pic of my phone screen :P

If you get a big buhwahh when you crack open the throttle from closed means your running too lean cuz. If your bog down at wot your running too big of a main

You need to get the engine tuned in pretty close before you tackle the trans.where do you have the air/fuel screw at?if your pilot is correct, you should be around 1 3/4 to 2 turns out. As you go up on the main, the richer the mid throttle is going to get. So leaning out the needle is what you will need to do to clear it up. You don't need to go on 10miles rides to get your jetting right. Just around your house should be fine for that. Less chance of seizing the motor.

With my 72 malossi one clip down from middle worked really well for me. Make sure you dont mickey mouse around too much and you know how to do a plug chop. A cht gauge and plug chops are the only way to get it dialed in right

If he moves the clip down, it will make it worst. He said its burbling after he up the main jet. That right there tells the story.and anyways the needle for the oko and keihin is not the correct needle. It can get you close but that's it.the taper is wrong and thickness is wrong on the needles.

:D Thanks guys mainly I just wanted to ride today so on my 10 mile trip I only rode about half throttle and yes my a/f is around 1 3/4th out. I found another plug I had that I only used a few times so its still really clean the one I was running was pretty bad :D and yea baka not going to fool with the trans till I get the jetting right that is why I put a stock trans and the prodigy back on. I think the 107 is going to be good plus the next highest I have is 118 and I think that would be too big. Its crazy how that dirty air filter was holding me back like that

Do you have a derrestricted elite s exhaust? If you do , try that one and see if there is a difference.
