Air intake question

Post by zajaco »

This is the gasket Honda makes for the intake. Why does it cover up some of the port? Will I get any more flow if I trim the gasket to just cover the edges of the opening?

All I know for sure is air intake...good....haha..ha.OK,I've got to fire my joke writers. If the gasket covers some of the fuel/air port,it would be a good thing to trim the excess that is in the way.Use an Exacto or utility knife.Carp

Greetings:

It won't make a bit of difference, sad to say. :( Place the reed block on top and you'll see why.
