i think the ruckus was on the elite or the aero, find a shock from an elite(sa50) it will fit and give a better ride. 3.00 X 10 tires will do also but beware some mods may need to happen. to be safe try 2.75X10 its better the the 2.50X10 tire, its what i have on mine.

I'm running a ruckus shock on my spree with 3''x10'' tires. You have to move your shock mount point to under the oil tank. But I did it with no welding.

I also just streched the spree by making the motor mount a little longer and bolting it to were the center stand would mount. (with 3'' tires the center stand rubs on tire and wont ever reach the ground).

you can drill it out, what size is yours 65?, drill out the restriction in the exhaust, up jet to 68, and get a set of taz gears. that should put you in the mid 30's you did say it was the iowa right? NQ50D denotes iowa model. if you need a 68 i believe i still have one here from my spree that i dont need.

drilling out the exhaust will need some sort of grinding tool. remove the exhaust and look inside where it bolts to the jug you will see a washer that needs removed, grind it out all the way. if you need a 68 jet i have one just let me know.
