GY6 150cc on spree???

Post by Ricerider »

I found one of these lb150t-12 for CHEAP, Im thinking thats a 150cc gy6 chinese engine in there

Has anyone put one of these motors on a spree or elite? It sounds ridiculous just thinking about... but a gy6 with opened up exaust, bigger main jet, and clutch kit would wheelie a spree clear thru an intersection...

Has anyone attempted this at all??
will the side covers even fit back on to hide the engine?

I say go for it :2thumbs:

I really doubt that the rear plastics would fit back on it.

I have seen ruckus guys do the swap....but never on a spree.

It has been done but not well documented. If you are willing to cut the panels a little, you can put them back on. The hardest part IMO is keeping the geometry correct for the horizontal 4t to get its oil properly.
