Polini Corsa , are these the same?

Post by KingJeff801 »

Bakaracer steered me in the direction of this Killer deal on a Polini corsa, it is $240.00 shipped, the picture is not the correct corsa that fits the Elite SR. the part number is almost identical to the one daywot sells on Ebay, Except for the p in the front and the lack of the / and the .

Question is this the same kit and just pictured wrong?

That's the right one. As-long-as it has an 'R' behind the product number, it is the Corsa.

SIP also has great deals on the MHR too.

Yup they are the same. Just have to make sure the R is at the end of the part number. That indicates its the corsa. If no R then its the contessa kit. Now you have to find the polini, malossi or an arrow exhaust to go with that bore to get the full potental of the cylinder.

Loved the arrow back in the day, except they always seem to break at the top of the J, and the the bracket that secured it to the block, does arrow even make a pipe for it anymore? or is only used left to fight over?

Yeah you got to find a used one or find a old shop that still has new ones that's sitting in a warehouse or storage.the polini or malossi one works really good too.or you can buy one of the japan exhaust pipes. Check out webike.they got lots of parts there but a bit pricey

Do Polini and Malossi still make them? How pricey? I did have a Malossi back in the day(Iknow I say that a lot) that was the reverse of Technigas chamber pipe, it was really loud but bad *!

KingJeff, inthink malossi still makes the dio pipe; I gave seen one recently somewhere. Maybe check SIPscootershop's website. Look at the pics of Bradthreee's minarelli Ruckus build; he has the minarelli version of the malossi racing replica. Man that pipe looks badass!!!

Of course it is. SIP has the best prices on these things if you're open to ordering from Europe and not sticking to Daywot, eBay, and your local vendors. *, the MHR is a few bucks more than the Corsa so you basically can get that and a nice stage 6 intake manifold for less than a Corsa stateside.

yeah def sounds like good stuff. I've always been hesitant ordering from europe, but that was back in day when shipping prices were too high for my tastes. have read lots of good info about SIP so this sounds like win to me

I was just looking at this website as well, looks like a great place to get parts. Think i am going with a Corsa and wondered if this exhaust would be ok to use. There seems to be two different version. One with "e-pass" and one without? Is it some type of overseas thing, i am guessing it has to do with emissions.
