Dude the ruima port timing sucks get a life. Come to kona and ill leave you behind choking on my castorJJ Joseph wrote:That's total nonsense. There's lots of 50mm jugs on the road with no problems.bakaracer wrote:Not true at all. the 50mm bores have high compression already,if not to much if using pump gas. thats why guys are seizing or blowing up

Re: Best dio performance parts
I have a rumia seems to work fine for me 49.2 MPH on flat with no wind and 9.8:1 gear ratio going up to 8.4:1 so the engine doesn't have to rev so high
Re: Best dio performance parts
Not to worry about the revs on your Ruima jug. With the stock Keihin carb and stock oil pump, you can run it at 50mph all day long. (BTW, never mind the "castor oil" trolls - they're just some frustrated model airplane dudes on bicycles. Nobody else uses castor oil any more!)Pierce ramsay wrote:I have a rumia seems to work fine for me 49.2 MPH on flat with no wind and 9.8:1 gear ratio going up to 8.4:1 so the engine doesn't have to rev so high

Re: Best dio performance parts
when you top out those 8.44to1 gears, the rpms will be the same as when you topped out the 9.8to1 gearsPierce ramsay wrote:I have a rumia seems to work fine for me 49.2 MPH on flat with no wind and 9.8:1 gear ratio going up to 8.4:1 so the engine doesn't have to rev so high
