That's total nonsense. I've been running a 50mm Ruima jug for over a year, and it's as smooth as silk, and runs away from the 72cc jobs. There's lots of 50mm jugs on the road with no problems.

I have a rumia seems to work fine for me 49.2 MPH on flat with no wind and 9.8:1 gear ratio going up to 8.4:1 so the engine doesn't have to rev so high

Not to worry about the revs on your Ruima jug. With the stock Keihin carb and stock oil pump, you can run it at 50mph all day long. (BTW, never mind the "castor oil" trolls - they're just some frustrated model airplane dudes on bicycles. Nobody else uses castor oil any more!) :bowrofl:

I'm running a 24mm oko carb ct intake and oil plug running oil tank as extra fuel tank

when you top out those 8.44to1 gears, the rpms will be the same as when you topped out the 9.8to1 gears

Well I was hopeing to stay around 45mph and te 8.4 fears should give me a lower rpm and there for sightly better fuel economy I hope :s :confused:
