1985 spree belt ?.

Does your Spree/Elite already run great, and you're trying to make it quicker/faster? Need a monster motor swap? Discuss your ideas here.

1985 spree belt ?.

Post by snappy »

I got a new belt from Honda .After I replaced it I lost all my low end but went from 25mph to 37mph. The belt was thicker than the old one and had a different part number.I would like to have both low end and top end any ideas???

With the Spree and it not having a variator you will never have both. One or the other or compromise both, but the Spree will alway be a slug off the line. That is why it was a perfect pit bike, It was slow to get going and in the race pits it was perfect.
