is there a specific characteristic to a correctly tuned vario or is it more of a personal preference?

If it hauls * then it is correctly tuned. Yes, personal preference.

tune by feel. everyone weighs different and engines run different even though they might have the same exact parts on it. plus everyone rides their bikes different so tune to how it feels best to you.

thats why you need to own at least 2 scoots, one as an everyday semi modded sleeper

and one as a weekend blaster, i own 5 so i have every catagory covered
