how to keep scooter in power band

the more i play with roller weights ive noticed that right after takeoff it has a slower accel. from 0~12 then 15 to 35 it really picks up and takes off is there a way to better keep the engine in its power band? i have the stock contra spring yet

is the springs in the clutch stock too?

change that stock center spring out to at least a 1k center spring then adjust weights from there. go by feel when playing with the weights.

No matter what you do there will still be compromise involved. You will never be able to keep things in the power band in all cases. * that is why some of today's cars with peaking power bands have 8 speed transmissions and even then there is compromise.
