cheaper, faster, and easier than paint. check it out

Post by jlynn433 »

I was readin up online about a set of wheels for my truck, and i dont know how i stumbled upon this idea along the way but it worked for me today. I wouldnt advise you to paint the body of the bike with it, but plastidip works GREAT on rims. I tried scraping it with a screwdriver when it was dry and it did, im not gonna lie, but it holds up exceptionally nice for what it is. no scuffing necessary, just wipe the wheels down with grease & wax remover and dry it, then your good to spray. dont even bother taping off your tires either, it just peels right off the rubber, but it stays on the rim. the best part about it is later down the road if you decide the color looks like s*** with your paint, you can peel it off (with more effort than the tires, but its still do-able) so go check this stuff out, you dont have anything to lose besides about 6 bucks
