i wood bet if he went back to stock or 12/1 he cood not keep the front end down but if he 300 lb it my not work as well but his top speed will be down to 30 or 40 but that a guess... if its close i wood drop the roller down by 3 to 6 grams or change the 3 clutch springs or go to a smaller back tire 2.5 .. you may have to do one or more of these..

my stock elite 50 will do wheelies all day long..i know it's a spree..but with all that he has done to it it should wheelie no problem.. Sit far back on the seat twist the throttle to where the clutch starts to engage and yank up on the bars while leaning back a bit. Also have one or 2 fingers on the rear brake to set you back down if you come up to fast..thats the key is controlling how fast you pop it up to the balance point and the it's throttle control and brake ofter that...good luck and don't get too aggressive with it or you'll flip backwards and get hurt..

as far as the noise..it could be several things. Belt , clutch, bearings.etc.. Those also could make a huge negative impact on performance if the are worn out...you wouldn't be getting all the power to the ground...
