I don't think that's a proper mainjet plug chop as your still breaking it in unless your breaking it in at wot or more than 1/2 throttle on a constant on your ride? If your less than 1/2w throttle on your ride, its a pilot jet and needle that's running rich.

What does the temp gauge read when your riding?

Your 280deg temp right there is a sign its rich. You can lean the needle 1 clip . I bet it burbles a lot when your just getting on the throttle? What do you have the air/fuel screw set at? Where is the needle clip position right now?

Yeah that air/fuel screw is in way to far. What size pilot jet in there? You can get the temps in the low 300's for breakin. At wot you want to see around 385

There are no hard numbers for idle mixture screw settings. You adjust for the highest idle speed possible, then adjust the idle speed screw for an idle of 1800 RPM.

What temp gauge do you guys suggest? I would like it to be hard wired not just a BBQ type. Thanks

The trailtech tto temp gauge is a cheap good one. Plus its small to put anywhere. You can get one of those for about $45 shipped
