Looks like you need to put that head gasket back in there.

Thanks for the kind words Swim. I do not know the formula for compression ratio, but I can google it later and find out. Sorry to make new threads but this project seems to have a few different important discussions and it would be nice nice to have them separate so if others dont want to read about a compression test, or dont want to read about BBK's, they can get right to the meat. Not to mention in the future when we want to read up on and old thread on compression and the * was NEW POLINI EXHAUST. It might never be found again lol. I look forward to sharing some more info later, I have put 2 tanks of fuel through it now, and about the WOT yes sir latest compression test read 175psi.... No knock audible at the moment but its hard to hear over the exhaust. Hit 41 mph on gps now down a slight grade(hill). I order a new rear axle bearing because I notice play on it when I inspected the gears. When that gets in I will slap the taller gears in and she what she will really do.

Yes, to much, maybe if it was a drag bike, but a street machine, way to high.

FYI, with a two stroke you will NEVER hear it knock. Oh and a CHT will not tell you before you burn up the piston. It happens too fast for the gauge to catch it.

175 is way too high.

i suspect that adding a head gasket will drop it 10-15psi

you might want to add a base gasket too. your port timing will change a bit......but I think t will be ok.

If this is going to be a daily driver, you want no more than 145psi

I will throw it on there and report how much the compression decreases.
I drove the spree tonight and was passing cars uphill I never thought I would see the day... I must get a camera dude o follow me so I can so you guys. It reminds me of those hawaii guys hauling a s s on YouTube! Except I can't get on a highway. Does anybody have a nice temp gauge they recommend? Thanks
