Put a 48/120 in no 118 do have a 115 tho. It's about 50 degrees here running a brh8s plug. And I am only about 170feet above sea level. I know these conditions will Change the jetting. Couldent see to get her started with the 48/120 think I might try the 48/115 combo. Thanks

Also will the stock head fit well for compression or is a 51mm head better I don't have a 45mm is that a must or will it run with one of the two above?

it will run with the stock head as long as the piston doesnt touch it at TDC but I had mine milled to match and the squish done too

Is this better than using a 51mm head?

awesome, thanks for the info i will swap them tomorrow morning, altho she was running poorly with the 51mm head on but if she will run better with the stock head on im all for it! i have 2 stock head so i will put one on and take the other one to the machine shop. any other thoughts on jets still cant get her to start agian? have tryed 48/120 48/115 and 48/110. should i try a 45/115?

before you start it make sure the piston doesnt hit the head, might have to add an extra headgasket for clearance not sure

just swapped and tested proud of my 35min head swap :)..... not proud of my non working sexy beast (yes thats her name) so a 45mm bore and a stock 39mm head. jets at 45/110 and not starting, sounds a little on the rich side kinda boggy sounding when trying to start... any other suggestions, new head gastket with swap and new plug.

drop the pilot down to the next smallest size with needle clip in the middle
