You finally got it. but just to let you know the rubber will rip if you are runing with the ct chrome or black mani that is angled 15degrees. only the old school krs/koso manis go straight back so the air box mounts prefectly. If the rubber does break you can just go ace hardware.

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.

Re: OKO Airbox Intro
Hey wheelman, what did you end up deciding with this intake? I never really understood what people meant when they said the intakes are usually louder than the exhaust on these hopped up scooters. Well now I know. The pod filter I have has a crazy bark to it, and i've only put 3 miles on the scooter so far. I definately want to get a quieter intake.Wheelman-111 wrote:Greetings:

Re: OKO Airbox Intro
Greetings:
I shimmed the bracket out a few mm. The airbox trumpet doesn't bend as much and hasn't cracked.
I really think this acts as a velocity stack, adding appreciably to the top speed.
71.2 so far, and that was in warm weather toting a messenger satchel.
It's just as noisy as a UNI/K&N. At least it's faster. I think VT still has 'em.
