need help on jetting start point.

Post by guen84 »

Have a 44.1 mini stroked 50mm PG bore, PG Long, and 28 mm OKO Carb. (Builds in signature)I'm looking for a start point with my jetting. I was way over jetted trying to cool my high compression now, I have no clue what sizes to order. I have pilots 50-60 and mains 145-158. Thanks

55 pilot 140 main air fuel screw 2 turns out needle clip middle. try it with the 145 you got and see if thats to rich first.
Nothing like getting stroked!

I'm running 145 now its to rich from 1/2 throttle to full throttle ther really isn't any speed gain and my rpms are maxing out 8k. but if I'm cruzing in 1/4 to 1/2 throttle range temps get up in the 360's

I should have clarified 360 and still climbing I pull over and idle back down

check for a air leak and make sure the compression is 125. use the kick lever and not the electric start to check that. also make sure your not using a long hose and a adapter for the compression tester. it adds volume to the head so compression readings will be lower

How many psi do you think the hose and adaptor adds?

the is no information about the crank case port or untouch porting... :surprise:

that is the reason why you went blow up 3 cylinders...

crankcase need to clean out real good.

any metal shaving lay on the bottom crank case... from seize bore. any metal shaving damage crank, crank bearings...

kit 1 was compression, kit 2 compression (turned out the gauge was bad), kit 3 air leak from exhaust flange
