Technigas rs2 on JOG

Post by DaylightDies »

How is the Technigas rs2 exhaust on the jog? Is it loud?
What is it compared to? Is anyone running it, what are you using?

Edit: I would like to run it with a Ruima 48mm bore, but might go with something else in the same bore range.
19-21mm arreche carb.

They have the BMF pipes here but they are a bit pricey, are they worth it?
16mm is kind of small for a bore, and I would rather use a UNI foam sockbox

Also I have been wondering about the polini contessa and the MHR kit. I will probably go with the MHR.

the rs2 is made for a 70cc kit so it will work good. the tecnigas pipes are somewhat loud.pretty much all the aftermarket pipes for jog style motors are pretty loud. what do you want the motor to do? also a contessa is like a malossi cast iron. same class. the mhr is in the same class as the corsa. the ruima 48mm ,stock carb/airbox jetted carb, tecnigas next r,stock gearing, aftermarket pulley, clutch shoe springs and center spring will net you around 60mph
Nothing like getting stroked!

60mph is plenty for this island. 80kph is the fastest you can legally go on Okinawa, and 60mph is 95+kph.
I want a quiet pipe, the technigas does seem very loud. But I don't want to sacrifice to much performance.

The tecnigas , even the rs2 arent to impressive.. Lots of noise minimal performance.. Ive had tecnigas v8 yasuni and evo pipe on that
Motor.. For your setup a v8 pipe would be fine.. Also like baka said you can see close to 60 with the setup he named.i was hitting 56 with taiwain bore tecnigas pipe jetted carb stock gears stock airbox
