Just got 86 Honda Aero 50 need guidance on performance parts

Post by bostongsx »

Im a newbie here and am just looking for some guidance on performance parts/mods/recipes. This scooter only has 200 miles but has been sitting for 15 plus years. Any help would be appreciated as far as what and who from to purchase. My goal is to have a dependable scooter with some power. :peace:

Lol sorry it has been one of those days. The 86 has a 4 bolt manifold that can be upgraded. You can upgrade the variator, clutch, exhaust, etc. There is the always the bbk (big bore kit). I believe the biggest for the af05e is 65cc. You can also swap gears and tires.

VTCycles and Daywot on ebay come highly recommended. First though do a bit of searching on here and find out what you want and your budget. Then start looking for parts.

The website only lists a big bore kit....no intake carb or muffler.

Redeftperformance is a good Malossi dealer. You can PM him through the board. They are talking about the CT intake for Dio.
