Re: Does anyone know?
The guy who knows everything doesnt know which model had the 3 finger reeds, how could an easy question stump such a great builder? If you ever owned more than a push scooter you would know your answer.

Re: Does anyone know?
Greetings:
My '87 Aero had doubles. The weirdo '87 SE50 I got from Japan had a split belt cover along with the triples, as well as the manifold that was more like the SA50's held the carb a bit more outboard. I suspect the later US Elites with SE/05s followed suit. (But left off the split 16-style belt cover). The Dog wasn't asking anything annoying, so don't use this thread for Retaliation.

Nope, still not annoying really. The Dog is actually hinting that his self-esteem rests in the opinion of others. He may or may not have built some Epic scootage. Boastful self-aggrandizing posts and the convenient absence of pics invite challenge and derision. In this dysfunctional context, he "wins" when someone falls for it. Once in a while he contributes something useful. Ignore the rest.

Re: Does anyone know?
I don't know if they're the same unit, but the Canadian AF18E Dio has 3-finger reeds. Any Canadian Honda dealer or scooter supplier has them. I get the carbon-fiber ones from:maddog wrote:Which model elite-e or lx had a triple reed . . .
