Kymco zx-50 question

Im wondering if i can swap my af16 on to the kymco zx frame.. Mount looks the same but my question is..will the kymco wheel slide on the af16 shaft?

That wheel not going fit. The zx50 is a long case. Af16 is short case.

Ahhh. Ok,, thanks baka.. Was hopin i could swap my motor over.. But gears and all performance parts off of elite would work correct?carb, mani, pipe, big bore , gears ,variator?

Gears might. Engine wise I know fits. Cylinder, crank, exhaust, intake system

i think ( but dont know for sure) that primary gears will swap but secondaries will not.

I was thinking the same since it doesnt affect that gear the wheel goes on

Still trying to figure/find this out..and this trans on the zx50.. Is that the setup thats better on the af16,?

Well according to daywot.. He doesnt know of any gears for a zx50 and says the primaries wont work

Dang..! I need those man.. This is driving me nuts.. I wana build this thing up so bad but if i cant find gears..,, i need to speak to LoveMyHonda.. He has a zx50 that had gears.. Hopefully he will junp in with some info..

Only polini and malossi sell gears that fit anymore that Ive found to be drop in, and theyre only primary not secondary. Mopedhospital near you also use to sell secondary gear sets but they no longer do. I would see if he can cut you another set or has one laying around. In all reality most machine shops with a CNC can make you a gear set, its just going to cost a little more than off the shelf.
For the AF16/18 primary sets, in order to use the af16/18 primary gear sets you have to use the af16 counter also due to the af16/18 shaft being splined and sc10 primary being smooth, you wouldnt be able to put the af16 countergear on the sc10 countershaft; and it will have to be machined down a couple mm to clear the case side. I would post my questions about the zx at kymcoforum.com they know more about the specifics on your bike than most on here, I dont even look on here anymore I just noticed a pm at my email when I returned from Colorado.

Thanks guys.. Yea i posted there and cant get any feedback..they claim on that forum that the stock gears can go to 55
