Is there a limit to how many times you can heat cycle?????

As the title. Just started heat cycling and basically I am doing it once in the morning and one late evening when I get back form work. Just wanted to know how many times I could do this or is there no limit?

Also fitted a delorto carb and the bike runs really well. However the manual choke makes the bike worse both hot and cold. I guess I just don't need to use it but I thought it would be better when first started?

I would imagine that the upper limit on heat cycling is whenever you need to rebuild the top end after it wears out again, hopefully you get some riding in before that happens

Some dellorto carbs you can swap out the enrichment jet (choke) to dial it in to what you need for how much fuel it delivers in the start circuit.

you could be jetted to high that could be why your choke makes everything worse

Yep could be. I am just heat cycling at the moment and waiting for a trail tech kit. Hopefully that will give me more of a clue as to whats going on. During heat cycling it purs like a cat.

If your carb is jetted right you will not need to use the choke, if your battery is weak use the kicker, if it starts up then change the battery.
