if its just a hole..cork it or get one of those plastic caps engine builders use to cap off holes and ports. Available at your local auto parts store near you!

Just grind the teeth of the oil pump, then reinstall.dont not run the pump with out oil,it will seize and damage the crank.
You cant use plastic,it needs to seal perfectly, the case is under vacuum/pressure ,if it leaks you will seize.

I have heard that if you just make a loop, take the output line of the pump and hook it to the input line with some oil still in it, you can just have it circulate some oil to keep it going. Then you can run premix in the tank.

No, but if you need a pump I'll send you mine -just pay for shipping ,Ive got like a dozen or so laying around
Ideal is to use a oil pump plug kit ,but Ghetto works GOOD ! :D

I ve seen it done and the motor still seized.
One the oil tends to "cook" within the pump ,since it's not beening replaced with fresh oil, Two most people forget about it and the pump leaks, runs out of oil and seizes which damages the crank, sending metal shaving into the bearing etc.
Best option is too use a plug kit and be done with it,next best is to grind off the teeth and reinstall.
The plug kit is shaped like the bottom of the oil pump ,if you just plug the top portion you are affecting crankcase volume and you will loose power

Give some more specs? bore kit size? gear ratio? a stock oil pump set at full on is good for 76cc, i did change my pump after 48,000 mi. and still running fine at 76,980 mi. if you want to run a plug make a tang using the existing pump mount.
