Spree manifold swap

Hello, I new to this forum, and have just gotten my 1986 Spree back running again after sitting for 25 years. I just bought a big bore kit from chop chop on eBay, and I've seen some posts about also swapping the stock manifold with the elite four reed manifold. I'm about 200 lbs and am in need of as much torque as possible to get up the steep hills in my neighborhood. Will the manifold help, and if so,where can I find one? Also, how much difference would a larger carb make vs. the new main jet from the big bore kit?
