80cc Elite engine on spree?
I was wondering if an elite engine would fit on a spree? It looks very closely related, just 80cc. or rather, if I had the entire rear assembly, could I make it work easily?
Anything can be made to fit, and I'm guessing the 80cc would with minor mods, as the attachments are very similar.
The seller may be right, it may not bolt in. He isn't going to tell you that it will if he's not sure.
I saw this too. If it's complete from carb to spark unit, I think it would be a cool swap. And a lot better than tweaking with a 50cc non-variator motor. You might have to remove / create / weld some bracketry and saw out your sidepanels. But it would be fast.

What you're refering to is changing the front headtube angle. This make the scooter more stable at high speeds. Think more like a chopper, less like a bicycle. A 3 degree increase in head tube angle was what one builder used.Tippmann98 wrote:ive heard of even bending the frame a little bit to stiffen up the suspension and handeling
