Anyone got a pic of a polini CP carb on their Spree?

Does your Spree/Elite already run great, and you're trying to make it quicker/faster? Need a monster motor swap? Discuss your ideas here.

Anyone got a pic of a polini CP carb on their Spree?

Post by Weezerjerry »

I want to make sure things are connected up properly and was hoping someone might be able to post a pic of a polini CP carb on their Spree.

I have a tazz BBK and a polini CP 19mm carb. Am hoping to get it all back together and running and tuned this weekend.

Thanks for the help!

I am asking this because the Polini carb seems to have many places for connections. All I have connected to it currently is the fuel lines. Does this mean I need to somehow cap off the other nipples on the carb?

19mm cp is an amazing carb, first starts like nothing and runs smooth my jets are lean probably 10 jet sizes and it runs fine. Heads up though to first prime it on the spree petcock ive seen people completely choke the carb until your hands soaked then wot until it starts and let off and it should idle fine from package. The 2 nipples pointing up need to be capped off.
