Where to get a jet kit for Spree NQ50?
Ive been looking. Reading old posts. I even called my local Honda dealer and he looked up a bunch of cross-referenced part numbers from other models. He can get everything from up to 88, then nothing till about 150. Im looking for jets for my stock Spree carb from about 90-120, Im guessing. I just would like a bunch to play with and try different tunes. Im learning a lot about tuning and would like to try my hand at jetting around! Thanks.
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

Also, if I am not mistaken, Gurtner carb main jets also fit Keihin PA carbs. You'll have to cross reference that and make sure. If so, you might find them cheaper.
Re: Where to get a jet kit for Spree NQ50?
This is a pic of the 2 different types of jets I have.
Jet on the left is a #92 main from a Keihin PA, center is a #83 main for a NQ 50(which curiously came with the 90cc kit for my AF18?) and the right is the stock #68 NQ 50 main jet.
What size main jet were you guys supplied with your 48mm kits?

Have just checked these out... I've had a few dealings with this guy so will check with him and confirm they will fit NQ 50 carbs

I got an 87 with both my bbk's. The jetsrus place doesn't have NQ50 jets listed.

Bummer. Well sorry, thought it might of helped. Have you tried treatland? I know I found them once, just can't remember where the hey it was. Maybe http://japan.webike.net/ ?? I remember when I found them, they had 3 different 10 pack kits Low range from like 60-76? Mid from high 70-90, then high covering 92-100+ I just can't remember where it was. That's gonna bug me now till I do remember.

Start by reading the wikispreedia entry at:
http://www.hondaspree.net/wiki/index.ph ... _Reference
graphite9 usually has this kit, but I see they are out of stock now, but he can probably order you a set:
http://www.scooterswapshop.com/products ... 6775616773
In the wikispreedia article, there is mention of a company called racingplanet.com. Their website shows the 74-96 set to be available. I ordered a set from them and it was sent from overseas so it took a couple of weeks to arrive, but it did arrive. The packaging is the same as in G9's picture rather than the picture on racingplanet.com, but the jets are the same.
see: http://www.racingplanetusa.com/main-nar ... 821-1.html
If I were you, I'd drop graphite9 a note and see if he can order you a set of the Gurtner jets. If he says no, then buy a set from racingplanet.com.
For the jets between 96 and 120 that you say you want to experiment with, I would ignore the advice in wikispreedia and drill out the jets you don't need from the set, i.e the 74-88 jets using the drill size table in the wikispreedia article. Yes, they won't have the correct taper on the holes you drill, but the drilled jets will work well enough for your experiments. When you find the size you want, then you can order a properly drilled jet that size. Take a look at this link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/20pc-Micro-Dril ... SwxN5WXOeW
The largest drill in that set would get you to about 99 jet size. If you need larger, get a larger drill set such as this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/60-Pc-Titanium- ... EB9erOCl-A
That set will take you from 102 to ridiculously big..

While we're on the topic, how does one tell what size a jet is? I can't find any markings on the ones that came out of the stock Honda carbs I have or on the ones I got in a kit from SSS. Am I not looking hard enough or something?

Re: Where to get a jet kit for Spree NQ50?
All of the jets that were in original carbs that I have seen are stamped with the number on the side of the jet on the end of the jet that is up when the carb is upright.. in other words, the end without the screwdriver slot. Most replacement jets are also stamped in the same place, and the number might be right side up or upside down. In Ultraliners photo of his three jets, I think you can see the number on the lower end of the right one. In the middle jet, I think you can see the "3" that is part of the 83 at the lower end of it.. note that the lower end in his photo is the upper end when installed in the carb.
You need to get one of these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Headband-Hea ... SwbYZXbOUg
at that price with free shipping, there is no excuse for not having one..

Thanks for the info. I figured it was stamped on there, but everything small has been hard to see since I passed my 40th birthday.
