Your piston should not be "loose." If it is, check compression. You need a new set if rings and possibly a new piston if so, as well as a hone or bore job on the cylinder. Compression should be above 100 PSI.
ok im pretty shure its the compression but i dont feel like puttin the money into it . but do yall no how much it would cost for a piston rings and a honed cylender.. and i was thinkin bout seelin how much could i get..
no idea. your local motorcycle dealership or whatever would be able to get it. or mabe even an auto parts place.im not familiar with where you live so i cant really help. try ebay.

well i found the problem ( i think) . i took the head off and found that the exhauast port was clogged up baddly( maybe had an 8th of inch or less). so i declogged tht but when i was tryint o put the head back on i broke the rings. so im gonna half to order that and i guess ill get a head gasket with it. bt how do u get the head on with the rings on i just couldnt do it?
I think you mean that you're trying to put on the jug over the piston. You can use a large radiator hose clamp (with lots of lube oil) to do this. It does need to be done carefully. The actual tool is called a ring compresser, but you'd need a small-engine one.
You may need a ring spreader to put on the rings. The danger is either a) breaking the ring b) scratching up the piston. The installer spreads the rings, the compresser squishes them to fit into the jug.
The manual shows the rings being removed by hand, but not the installation. What exactly went wrong last time?
