120cc lc...runs fine around town stop an go type riding..
Once I ride in the country or longer distance she starts to cut out?? I could be cruzzing 50-55mph right in the powerband 7700-8500 rpms riding for couple miles or so than she starts bogging when I give fuel. She won't die or nothing. She does that for 10-15 seconds than runs fine again, for a mile or two than bang start bogging again..??
What do U guys think fuel issue???

Just to get an idea of what to guess at, give us these answers.
What is compression of cyl?
What brand and number spark plug, gap set at?
What fuel are you using?
What type of temp sensor? H20 in-line or cht external?
Where is jet needle set at? Rich or lean?

120psi
Ngk 8 gap 35 I think
89oct mixed with 927 oil
Both temp sensors
Leanest setting with 42 pilot

I'm think fuel issues? Maybe petcock not filling carb bowl
Fast enough... or carb float set alittle low an motor drink faster that fuel coming in??? I just put new Carbon reeds in an new used stator..because I had issues before this new one came up..

I think you are spot on. I would adjust the tab on the float to max. It may take a few times to get it just right but thats life of tuning. I would also check the vacuum line for air draw. If you suck on the vacuum line and you feel a constant draw or gas comes out of the vacuum line it sounds like the petcock is bad. Good luck.

Well, I've never owned a 120cc or liq cooled bore but the 6 to 1 gears may not really be so good for putting around at 1/2 throttle. But yea, I agree with taz - reset/adjust float level and maybe raise the needle jet also. It should help in the midrange.

I had a wierd issue like that. Checked every thing and it ended up being stupid and simple. Changed the vacuum line. No visible holes but things changed as i was riding and the hose is flexing with bumps.
