polini corsa big bore kit

Post by nate_lohs »

hey ive seen 2 different polini corsa big bore kits. ive seen 72cc and 70cc. are they both pretty much the same besides for the 2cc's? i think they are relatively the same price too. i called vtcycles to see if they had any but they said they dont get them in very often, anyone know where i could get one?

im not referring to the contesta kit. im only referring to the corsa. on vtcycles its listed as being 72cc. i called another hawaii shop , cycle imports of hawaii and asked if they had it. they said they did but it was 70cc. did they just think i meant the contesta? and just to verify the part number for the corsa, is it 119.0077/R ?

well, some people are retarted, the corsa is a 72, so if someone calls it a 70, then whatever, its all on peoples opinions, like these bores, arent really what they seem, there usually 2 cc smaller then they say they are, like the 65cc kits for aeros and elite se50s are really 63cc kits, measured it myself plush others have measured.

Whats the bore size on that aero kit you measured? I have seen some kits state they have a 46mm bore and some state a 47mm bore.

I've seen places referring to the Corsa & Contessa as a 68cc kit... is this possible? They had the same product code as other Corsa kits

It depends on the crank, the older elites with a af09 might have a shorter stroke- 87 elite,85-87 aero and the sa 88 elite Lx
But is the stroke is 41.4mm On a 94 and Up Elite S and SR,and the corsa is a 47mm piston that's 71.8cc
But I think strokeitimports.com has it listed as a 40.4 which would come out as 70.1cc ,so it all depends on the crank.
Remember, everyone is human, even if there stupid!

jog crank 50 is 39.2 mm stroke X bore 47mm = 68cc. 10mm pin.
