Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hi, I just bought a 1995 Honda Elite S 50. It runs great and is in good condition, I was told that the previous owner put a new carb on it. The Carb has KNG written on the side, not sure if it’s good or bad. I am looking at big boring this scooter later on but for now I’d like to ride it around my college. I’ve heard about derestricting them. What do I do to get the most power out of this, before any add on parts.

Not sure yet, we have snow on the ground here in Minnesota, just prepping for spring.
