I believe the motor mounts on the Elite 80 are located on top of the engine versus the dio and spree, motor mounts are located on the bottom of the engine, so thats something to consider.

Its a 4 stroke engine so why bother, in 1983 honda made a 2 stroke aero version but its rare.

My 2 stroke NH80 engine sux compared to a good 50cc engine. No performance mods for it either.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a relatively easy switch motor that will boost the power but still look somewhat stock?

there is no easy switch for the stock motor the mounts are different your best bet would be to mod the s*** out of the stock engine

I disagree with you Kenny, though the motor mounts may have to be slightly modified it is relatively easy to do, and yes there is the issue of relocating the shock mount, but that to is easy. Swaping an Aero 50 motor or Dio is your best bet, the stock motor modified to the bone wont give you the results a Aero 50 or dio motor will give you. I swapped in a Aero 50 motor into my spree and thought at first it seemed difficult it wasn't. I had some help from some of the members here.

If you can get an Aero or Elite 50 engine I'd go that route. I've modded stock Spree engines... if you get an honest 40 MPH from them you're doing really well. You can get much more than that from an Elite 50.
