porting exaust?

there is a lump in there i want to grind out. is there anything i should be worried about?

In the pipe or in the jug? Go ahead and drill drill drill on that pipe.

Only port the bottom of the exhaust port.
Can't afford speed then stay away from it!

its on the jug. it isent honda ither. the hole in there is about the size of a quater but its blocked about half way by a lump of metal that needs to be grinded out.

Not if your careful. Unles it has a few thousand miles on it, then you should get new rings.

Might as well while you are in there then. A few peopl have horror stories of reusing rings.

i reused some rings that came out of a fryed cylinder. they lasted 100 miles or so then busted and destroyed my new cylinder.

no its a mz moskito but i figured that this would apply for any type of small engine
