any one got any ideas on ways to make it faster or were to get the bore kit. i called VT and they dont have it any more

Port it, there are measurements in the performance tech docs.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I have the last known malossi 60cc bore kit plus a malossi wildlion pipe, both will be sold as a set $300 firm plus shipping, its worth more than the express, just think how rare your express will be!

Didn't the '83 model have a variator on it as well? I think this is the best candidate for an overbore kit.

i am going to up jet it next a few sizes, port the intake then run some plug chops and get it tuned right.

so far i haven't got to ride it yet, because i have to weld it up still i don't have a welder so i had to wait till Monday to weld it up, i will let you know then
