Nos on a moped

Post by mopedman »

I was on you tube a few days , and i found a video of a Honda Express with NOS. I was just wonder if any one had any thoughts about NOS on a moped, I am thinking of putting it on my Honda Express.

Last I checked the proper Holley wet injection kit with bottle was $600.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I'd like to see as well. but from what I hear nitrous is very hard on the engine, and even if your compensating for it with more fuel you'll be putting some major strain on the piston, bearings etc.. But hey if you have spares why not

The other day i had a friend offer me the NOS kit off his prelude to put on my camaro but i don't have any need for that sort of thing. I never seen what exactly he was offering but he said the whole kit for $200

Thats a dry kit (it only injects NOS and is intended for use on bikes with fuel injection that will compensate for the lean runnig condition from the straight NOS). You need a WET kit (which injects fuel with the nos at the proper ratio).

not if your running it at a low hp gain, like a 1hp shot onto a moped could make you win a race. but wouldn't be too much for it, its not ment to hold on for like 2 min its for like 5seconts.
